October started off on shaky ground for those of us who have been waiting for DCU Online. Less than a month before its scheduled release, SEO announced that the game would be pushed back to spring 2011. The reason given was to improve the game; apparently they felt it wasn't quite as good as it could be. To ease the bad news it was also announced that a PS3 Collector's Edition will be released and that beta will be starting soon. The treats keep coming! So far, so good! We already knew the CGI was great, and now it looks like custom characters during in-game action will look pretty darn good too. Who knew Lex Luthor would use Brainiac's technology to give us super powers? Seems like we'll have plenty of choices to make come spring 2011.
